Plai ("the App") is developed and operated by Andrej Ivanis ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Plai.

- User Content: Videos, prompts, and AI-generated outputs you create, upload, or share.
- Identifiers: Account information such as your email address, Apple ID, or Google account (if used for sign-in).
- Contacts (optional): If you choose to sync your contacts, we collect phone numbers/emails solely to help you find friends who also use Plai.
- Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App (e.g., features used, time spent, browsing content).
- Diagnostics: Crash logs, performance data, and device information to help us improve stability.
- Device Information: Device model, operating system, app version, and device identifiers (such as IDFA or advertising ID).
- Advertising Data: When ads are shown through Google AdMob, certain data such as your device ID, IP address, and ad interactions may be collected by Google for ad delivery, reporting, and fraud prevention.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data for the following purposes:
- To provide and operate the Plai App.
- To enable you to record, edit, and share videos with AI features.
- To personalize your experience (e.g., showing you content from other creators).
- To allow sharing of your videos to third-party platforms such as Instagram or TikTok.
- To improve and debug our App by analyzing usage and diagnostics.
- To measure installs, marketing performance, and app usage trends through Adjust.
- To display ads and generate revenue through Google AdMob.
- To optimize marketing campaigns: If you grant permission, your device identifier (such as advertising ID) may be used to improve and personalize marketing campaign performance and ad targeting.
- To maintain safety and prevent abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms of Service.
3. Sharing of Information
- With other users: Videos you choose to share publicly on Plai may be visible to other Plai users.
- With third-party services: If you share your content on external platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok), their own privacy policies apply.
- With service providers: We may share data with third-party vendors who help us operate and improve the App (e.g., analytics, cloud hosting, advertising).

- Google Cloud: Used for secure storage and processing of data. Google Privacy Policy.
- Google AdMob: Used to show ads within Plai. AdMob may collect data such as device identifiers, IP address, and usage information for ad personalization and measurement. Learn more here.

- For legal reasons: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or users.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Advertising and Tracking Preferences
You can choose to limit personalized ads by changing your device settings:
- On iOS: Go to Settings → Privacy → Tracking, and disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track."
- On Android: Go to Settings → Google → Ads, and enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization."
Even if you opt out, you may still see ads, but they will not be tailored to your interests.
5. AI-Generated Content
When you apply AI effects, the prompts and outputs may be processed by our AI systems or third-party AI providers. We do not guarantee accuracy or appropriateness of outputs, and you should not rely on them for critical decisions.
6. Data Retention
- User Content: Retained as long as you keep it on Plai. If you delete your content, we remove it within a reasonable time.
- Account Data: Retained until you delete your account or request removal.
- Diagnostics/Usage Data: May be retained longer in anonymized form for analytics.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including storage and processing on Google Cloud with industry-standard security. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
- Request restriction or objection to certain processing.
- Withdraw consent (e.g., for contacts access or marketing use).

9. Children's Privacy
Plai is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum legal age in your country). If we learn that a child under this age has provided personal information, we will delete it.
